I’ve been working as Support Worker in one of the Learning Disability Homes and as a Part time Carer here in Southampton England for more than a year now.

Last June, I finished my Course in Professional Diploma in Health and Social Care, level 3 and now enrolled to NVQ Level 4.

Before I came to UK, I am conducting Training Seminars on Curriculum Development, Teaching Strategies, Assessors Course- TESDA Prog, Values, Shop Management, Japanese House Keeping, Guidance Counseling and many more.

With my aforementtioned experiences, I would like to apply as an ASSESSOR along Health and Social Care should your Orgnization still needs one. I am applying ’cause I learned from the Care Management Matters magazine, issue July 2009 that your Organization needs one.

We provide a personalized service to all prospective Filipino students, who would like to avail of our Programme in Health and Social Care Services.

We facilitate students, who are qualified to fill the following positions as prescribed in the NVQ and NQF Programs as:

· Deputy Managers
· Senior Care Assistants
· Care Assistants
· Support Workers

Our speciality at Caring Careers is in placing overseas students into Care Homes to study for their NVQs (“National Vocational Qualifications”) in Health and Social Care.

The student can work and get paid for up to 40 hours a week while undergoing appropriate training. This is done with 20 hours training in a work environment and 20 hours working. The student will be doing on the job training with a trainer visiting them at their place of work during their course as well as keeping in touch through telephone & e-mail (where possible). The Student will also have the option of living in subsidised student accommodation.

In addition, we also aid students joining the Overseas Nursing Programme (ONP)

This programme provides further nursing/care training and is suitable for students who wish to improve themselves and move onto better things.

An example of this would be overseas nurses who have an NMC decision letter but have not managed to get the required IELTS 7 academic English exam result. The position would give the students the opportunity to improve their English and become accustomed to working in the UK care environment.

If you have managed to qualify as an ONP student nurse we can place you within the UK where you can study for and receive your NMC Pin Number.
